Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya was supposed to work with Director Parasuram. Since many days, several rumors have been doing rounds about this combination. It was reported that creative differences have cropped up between the young hero and director.
Actually, Parasuram’s collaboration with Naga Chaitanya was confirmed long ago, but the director opted to direct Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Mahesh Babu because it was a chance to direct a Star Hero.
After SVP, Parsuram thought that big Heroes will be interested to work with him, but nothing worked for him. So, reports have at it that he is again back to work with Naga Chaitanya. It is also being said that Naga Chaitanya has liked the plot and Parusram is currently developing it as a full-fledged script and the film is expected to start in next year. 14 reels banner plus is producing this film.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, began production a few months ago. Now the film has a title. The title and first look were revealed recently, on the eve of Naga Chaitanya’s birthday.
The film is titled “Custody,” and the first look poster features Naga Chaitanya in a ferocious avatar. The tagline of the film is: “You Must be the Change You Wish to See in The World.” Krithi Shetty is the female lead.
“Custody” is one of Naga Chaitanya’s most expensive films. The bilingual film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi and presented by Pavan Kumar. Arvind Swami will play the antagonist, while Priyamani will play a powerful role. Among those who appear in the film are Sampath Raj, Sarathkumar, Premji, Vennela Kishore and others along with Actor Jeeva in a special cameo role.
Naga Chaitanya’s last film Thank You, directed by Vikram K Kumar, was a huge disappointment for the hero and his fans. Audience expected a breezy romantic film, but the film failed to reach the expectations. What’s more shocking was the film didn’t even generated a basic level of openings at the box office.
