Dil Raju is setting a wrong example as Telugu Film Chamber President. We have seen how the Telugu movies have suffered to get enough theaters for Sankranthi with hectic competition. With the postponement of Ravi Teja’s Eagle, everyone thought that the other films will not have any problems in theater allocation. However, the issues still continued for the other four films regarding the theaters.
The producers recently met and announced that they are always united, and Eagle makers have taken the decision of postponing the film, which is a good thing for the industry. Since it was a tight situation for the Telugu films at Sankranthi, everyone thought that there will be no place for dubbing films at. Sankranthi 2024. However, Dil Raju is setting a wrong example as Telugu Film Chamber President as he is now set to release Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan in Telugu states.
Dil Raju releasing Ayalaan in Uttharandra and Nizam
The latest update is that producer Dil Raju has bought the theatrical rights of Ayalaan film in Uttarandhra and Nizam. There is talk that the agreement has been signed and clarity on the adjustment of the screens is expected in the next two to three days. With this, one cannot help but point out the hypocrisy of Dil Raju.
In the recent press meet of Telugu Film Chamber Dil Raju directly said Hanuman will be the last one in Sankranthi releases. He did not mention any business or budget details and stated that first preference will be given to the Star Heroes films, and he intentionally hurt the makers of Hanuman.
Everyone felt that Dil Raju was selfish as he is releasing all other 3 releases at Sankranthi festival and that is why he intentionally mentioned Hanuman as the last one.
As said above, at a time when the Telugu films are struggling to get the sufficient number of screens, Dil Raju is releasing Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan in Uttarandhra and Nizam on 12th January. Even it may take lesser shows and theaters but those also could be given for our Telugu films.
As you Telugu Film Chamber’s President, he should convince Ayalaan unit to not release the film for Sankranthi festival time as multiple films are already slated to be released here. But he himself is releasing the film in Uttarandhra and Nizam which definitely sets a bad example.
