Noted Tollywood Producer Dil Raju was recently embroiled in a controversy by passing comments against Telangana Culture. The Producer who took part in the promotional activities of his upcoming film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam opined that people in Telangana vibe for liquor and mutton. He was criticised for these comments later for which he apologised now.
Dil Raju expressed his apology stating that his comments were misunderstood and he didn’t mean to insult anyone. He also requested people not to drag him into any controversy or politics. He made a video of this which was circulated on social media by his team.
On the other hand, the Producer’s two films, Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vasthunam are testing their fate at the box office this Sankranthi. Game Changer has already attained a below-par review and its performance also indicates ba ad sign for this festival season. His hopes will now be on Sankrathiki Vasthunam which will arrive on 14th January.
