A delegation of Tollywood including Producer Dil Raju who is currently the Chairman of Film Development Corporation is visitng Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy tomorrow. The Producer has also confirmed this today and it is learnt that the meeting is scheduled in the morning. But there is no clarity if this meeting is planned to discuss the cancellation of ticket hikes and benefit shows recently or the case registered against Allu Arjun by the Government.
Dil Raju when asked about the same by the media didn’t respond precisely stating that he was trying to bridge the gap between the Film Industry and the Government. If it’s for the re-initiation of the ticket hikes for the future films which includes Dil Raju’s production, Game Changer, the CM may consider giving his nod. But if the members exhibit intentions of a patch up in the issue of Allu Arjun then the CM may not go easy with them.
Few Ministers in the Government and the CM especially were very persistent on the cancellation of ticket hikes and benefit shows for any upcoming film in Telangana. So, Dil Raju must use great bargaining power to convince the CM which he did few times before. Let’s see what unfolds after the meet tomorrow.
