Surprisingly, it is the No.1 grosser in the Telugu states today and has already crossed double-digit gross collections on its opening day.
Incredible Achievement Despite Competition
A Hindi dubbed film crossing double-digit collections on the first day is an incredible achievement, especially as it is facing competition from a Tollywood Tier-1 star’s big film on the same day and still dominating. Similar to how Kantara's Telugu version dominated box office collections, Dhurandhar 2 is proving the power of strong content across languages.
This clearly shows how big Part 1 became, even without a Telugu version release in theatres. Don’t be surprised if the film, Dhurandhar 2, collects triple-digit gross in its full run, as the Telugu version has just been released today.
Massive Summer Run Expected
From now on, both the Hindi and Telugu versions are set to contribute huge numbers. Much like Jailer's Telugu version heading towards 100Cr gross, Dhurandhar 2 is positioned for a massive run this summer with both language versions driving collections.
