Kannada film ‘Kantara’, directed by Rishabh Shetty himself as the hero has created a sensation across the country. This film is gathering huge appreciation along with collections at the box office.

Kantara Kannada version opened with around 2.5 crores of gross on its first day. But with the help of sensational WOM, the film reached to next level and what’s more interesting is that Kantara has collected more collections than KGF-2 in its second weekend in Karnataka. And going by the trend it is expected to do much more than the present numbers.

And Kantara movie has been released in Hindi and Telugu versions. The Hindi version has collected 1.3 crores net on day 1, the gross will be around 1.6 crores. And coming to the Telugu version, Kantara has created carnage at the box office. The Telugu version’s opening day collections are equal to the combined gross of the Kannada version and Hindi version opening day which is astonishing. The film started with more than 4 crores gross in Telugu states and with such a blockbuster kind of opening day, it recovered the breakeven amount on the first day itself.
