Devara starring NTR opened to great numbers at the box office worldwide. The film has also managed to gross more than 300 crores after the first weekend. Devara has managed to beat Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD on the opening day but failed to continue the same lead till the second weekend. Devara’s 1st week performance falls short of Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD.
Kalki 2898 AD holds the top spot in the 1st week segment with 216.65 crores share followed by Salaar with 181.2 crores share. Devara stands at third with 150.80 crores share. Devara still had an extraordinary 1st week with 95% recovery. But the film couldn’t cross Salaar and Kaki 2898 AD in the first week. With this, it became evident that Devara can’t overtake both these films in the full run as well.
Devara may end up somewhere around 500 crores gross in the full run. The film has already touched the 400 crore mark worldwide according to the makers. Devara will have a great run in this weekend due to the advantage of Dussehra holidays. The film has also grossed more than 50 crores gross in the Hindi belt showing a decent run status there.
