Devara, however, saw a sharp rise in the occupancies and box-office performance yesterday. Here’s an area-wise breakdown of Devara’s gross collections after 6 days.
The Telugu states contributed a colossal Rs 158 crores, while Karnataka’s gross collections stand at a solid Rs 28 crores. Tamil Nadu’s Rs 8.5 crore gross and Kerala’s Rs 2 crore sum up South India’s performance. After 6 days, the rest of India’s collections stood at an impressive Rs 52 crores. The all-India collections have now risen to Rs 248.5 crores.
In overseas markets, Devara has collected $8.15 million so far adding another Rs 68 crores approx to the overall gross. The total Devara gross collections now stand at an impressive Rs 317 crores after 6 days. The film is expected to hit Rs 400 crores mark by this weekend.
