Devara which released this friday has performed greatly at the box office. The film even with an average mouth talk has done wonders by grossing more than 250 crores officially worldwide in the first weekend. Devara grabbed the spot of 7th highest grossing films in the first weekend segment. Tollywood’s 1st weekend top grossers along with Devara are given below:
Baahubali 2: 510 crores (3 days)
RRR: 495 Crores (3 days)
Kalki 2898 AD: 494 crores (4 days)
Salaar: 310 crores (3 days)
Adipurush: 271 crores (3 days)
Saaho: 255 crores (3 days)
Devara: 250 crores (3 days)
All films are Pan Indian hits. These films are also the films to collect more than 200 crores gross in the first week as well. All the films apart from Devara are records established by either Director SS Rajamouli or Prabhas. Now, NTR has also officially joined the list without the presence of Rajamouli which should be considered a great achievement.
It needs to be seen how great the film performs in the week days to have a good momentum with the second weekend. The film is also on its way to grossing 400 crores worldwide. Hindi market has also contributed more than 25 crores Nett in the first weekend which is also considerably good.
