It’s been more than a year since Devara’s release, and since then, the director, Koratala Siva, has been working on the sequel. Despite his hard work, the fans wait for Devara 2 to continue as its filming gets delayed.
As per the initial plan, the sequel to Devara was all set to start by this time. However, with NTR and Prashanth Neel’s movie facing a shooting delay, the actor will be busy with that movie till early 2026 in the second half, and it may be extended as well.
Also, there is other news that the NTR-Neel movie is divided into two parts due to the span, and both are said to be planning 2 back-to-back releases. If it is true, then there will be a massive delay in the filming of Devara 2.
Even if NTR allotted dates for the next part of Devara after Dragon part 1, it will still take around one year to get finished.
Koratala Siva can wait till Tark gets free or can do a quick project in between, and it is said that he is in a dilemma now. But practically, the director moving on a quick project may work for him instead of waiting continuously.
