Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone trailer released yesterday. The trailer showcases the film’s large span and budget. It also had Deepika Padukone dubbing for herself and this brought some trolling. Audiences have started trolling her accent in the dubbing as it didn’t feel appropriate.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan’s dubbing sounded better. No one knows if her character doesn’t know Telugu in the film or if it’s only for the trailer’s sake. The film also features another Bollywood actor, Disha Patani whose dubbing too sounded okayish. Kalki 2898 AD happens to be Deepika Padukone’s official Telugu Debut. So, the team must have taken care of her dubbing part which is evident from the Trailer.
Kalki 2898 AD trailer has already crossed 10 Million views and is close to 13 Million on YouTube. Kamal Haasan was also seen in the trailer during the climax portion where he was totally changed and his look was amazing. The film has been made as a Pan India biggie keeping in mind Prabhas’ statue throughout the country. He may score a blockbuster if all goes well with the film.
