Dasara breaks all the opening day records of Tier-2 Heroes

Nani’s highly anticipated film, Dasara, released yesterday and opened to terrific reviews and began creating records everywhere. The film marks Srikanth Odela’s debut with award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.

Thanks to good response from the audience, Dasara has performed phenomenally. In Telugu states the movie has collected 13.4 Crores and worldwide the total will be 19.4 Crores. It is a sensational performance, and the film broke the previous tier 2 Heroes record, which was with Liger [14 Crores] by a big margin.

The film has collected 6.5 Crores in Nizam on opening day, which is on par with Tier 1 Heroes. Dasara has produced mind-blowing numbers. The film has built up good craze and hype around it through striking posters and an impressive teaser. Though the trailer got mixed response, the film could sustain the interest in the audience.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara’s music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Sathyan Sooryan ISC handled cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer.

The film stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Rajsekhar Aningi. Set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Ramagundam’s Godavarikhani of Telangana, the film tells us the story of 3 childhood friends Dharani, Soori and Vennela in Veerlapally.
