Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his OTT debut, and he’s doing it with Netflix. Chiranjeevi will host a celebrity talk show called MegaVerse, his first-ever show for the streaming giant.
A First for the Megastar
After nearly five decades in films, Chiranjeevi is now stepping into the world of streaming. MegaVerse marks his first project for Netflix and his first OTT show.
For Netflix, signing one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema to host a talk show is a big win, especially for its Telugu audience.
What MegaVerse Is About
MegaVerse is a celebrity talk show, with Chiranjeevi hosting conversations with well-known guests. The show is also expected to look back at Chiranjeevi’s own journey, covering his long film career, his political career and his experiences in the film industry.
With Chiranjeevi’s charm and his decades of stories, fans can expect plenty of memorable moments.
Not His First Time as Host
This isn’t Chiranjeevi’s first time hosting a show. He earlier hosted Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, on television. His warmth and humour as a host won him a lot of love.
MegaVerse now takes him to a global platform.
A Busy Phase for Chiranjeevi
The show comes during a busy time for the Megastar. He has two big films lined up for 2027, Bobby Kolli’s Kaaka and Vassishta’s Vishwambhara, with one expected for Sankranti and the other for summer.
He’s also coming off the Sankranti blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
Details Coming Soon
Netflix hasn’t yet announced the streaming date, the guest list or the number of episodes. More details are expected soon.
