The project was confirmed before the release of ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam,’ and the success of that film accelerated this exciting collaboration. Targeting a Sankranthi 2026 release, this film is expected to showcase Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s magic during the festival season, known for delivering some of their biggest hits.
Interestingly, Sankranthi 2026 might see Chiranjeevi enjoying a solo run, as other major releases are unlikely to clash. Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan are expected to avoid competing with the Megastar’s film. Mahesh Babu’s next is slated for a 2027 release, while NTR’s highly-anticipated film with Prashanth Neel may shift to summer 2026 due to delays in production. Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ will arrive earlier in 2025, with another project slated for late 2026. Allu Arjun’s untitled film with Trivikram Srinivas not started yet and no possibility to release in early 2026, Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2’ is targeting this Dasara, further reducing the competition.
