Captain Miller’s censor report is shocking, as four minutes of the film’s climax have been trimmed by the Censor Board. Dhanush starrer has been certified U/A by CBFC. But the fans of Dhanush might feel a bit bad about the film’s length being cut down by four minutes.

The applied runtime of the film, Captain Miller, is 2 hrs 42 minutes 26 seconds and the deleted footage is 4 minutes 36 seconds. Reported to be a periodic action drama, ‘Captain Miller’ is set in the pre-Independence period. According to the Censor Report, the film has an excessive amount of violence in the climax fight. A 40% of the fight sequence which consists of violent blows and blood flow has been reduced by the Censor Board.

Written and directed by Arun Matheswaran, the music of Captain Miller was composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Satya Jyothi Films produced this big-budget film. The team recently released the second single from the film.

Coming to the business, the movie is said to have done the highest pre-release business in Dhanush’s Career. The theatrical and non theatrical business fetched record amounts for Dhanush. Saregama Music has bagged Captain Miller’s audio rights, and the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video has acquired the Digital Rights.
