Legendary comedian Brahmanandam will now don a new role in the upcoming film Panchatantram. The anthology will feature the actor and he will also be seen narrating another story that will be a part of the anthology. Harsha Pulipaka directing this film that features multiple stories.
“He takes on the role of narrator Veda Vyas, taking the audience through all the stories. I think this is the first time Brahmanandam garu is narrating a story, and it’s a privilege to us,” explains Harsha, adding that his role will provide a fresh take for the audience. Brahmanandam’s role in the film is a serious one, unlike the conventional slapstick comedy he usually partakes in.
“I also had the idea of wanting him to narrate all the stories, so I first discussed it with my producers, Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu, after which, all of us pitched the idea to Brahmanandam garu, and he obliged,” Harsha adds.
