From the very first episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 9, some viewers have accused the show’s management and host Nagarjuna of giving special treatment to contestant Thanuja. Lately, the eliminated commoner contestant, Srija’s words, have fueled this debate to a new level.
Fans say that during the weekend episodes, Nagarjuna reviews each housemate’s performance and points out their mistakes. However, they claim he has never criticized Thanuja the way he does with others.
Dammu Srija, who entered the house as a commoner, was eliminated, re-entered, and then eliminated again last week. In a recent Instagram video, she openly stated that the Bigg Boss Telugu team is biased toward Thanuja. According to Srija, when other contestants make mistakes, they face strict punishment, but Thanuja is often let off easily.

She further claimed that Thanuja was specially shown the footage from the house to help her improve her game, unlike others.
Despite the criticism, Thanuja is currently leading in online vote polls and is considered the top contender for the title.
