Nowadays in the Telugu film industry, the pre-release buzz and after release talk have become very crucial for any film. Be it a star hero’s film or a small budget film, the overall expectations on the film before it is released should be positive, or otherwise the film should get a unanimous positive reviews on the day 1. Then only a film being successful is possible. Chiranjeevi’s upcoming mass entertainer Bhola Shankar is now in need of unanimous positive reviews and word of mouth on its first day.
Because if a movie is carrying an immense buzz in audience before its release, then above average – Decent WOM is enough for the film to perform big at the box office. Even a few movies in the recent past posted great numbers with average word of mouth and reviews. If a movie creates a huge buzz before the release, it becomes easier, but for a movie which has low buzz it must get a unanimous positive talk and reviews.
Now the same thing should work for Bhola Shankar. The film needs to get a good and positive response as the movie is carrying very low buzz and advance bookings are also very ordinary. The pre-release business of the film is valued at 90 Crores worldwide. That is why Only a unanimous positive talk can help the film to deliver good numbers at the box office.
Bhola Shankar is slated to be released worldwide on August 11. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Vedaalam. Keerthy Suresh plays the role of Chiranjeevi’s sister in the movie, which is set against the backdrop of Kolkata, banking on brother and sister relationship and Tamannaah plays the female lead. Sushant plays a key role. Anil Sunkara has produced the film on the AK Entertainments banner.
