JD Chakravarthy, who is a well-known actor, writer, director, and producer, made his debut on the OTT platform with the murder-mystery thriller Dayaa. Written and directed by Pavan Sadineni, the thriller opened to a positive response on Disney Plus Hotstar and many netizens are claiming it to be the best OTT content to watch on this weekend.
Dayaa is the protagonist of the series, and his life takes an unexpected twist when he discovers a dead woman’s body in his van. He embarks on a thrilling ride where he encounters unexpected occurrences.
The thriller series started streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on August 4. Within a few hours of its release, superb response surrounded the series. Everyone was surprised by the intensity in the narration, and the viewers are already waiting for the second season of the series.
The series has JD Chakravarthy, Ramya Nambeesan, Eesha Rebba, Josh Ravi, Vinshu Priyaa, Babloo Prithveeraj, Kamal Kamaraju, Nanda Gopal, and Gayathri Gupta among others in key roles and everyone is said to have given terrific performances which make Dayaa the best OTT content to watch for this weekend.
The show is written and directed by Pavan Sadineni, winner of a national award. It was Shravan Bharadwaj who composed all the music and the background score of the series. Vivek Kalepu handled the camera, while Viplav Nyshadam worked as an editor.
