Balakrishna and Anil Ravipudi teamed up for a film titled “Bhagavath Kesari,” and the makers have successfully generated good buzz for the movie. The film has been released worldwide today, and here’s the first half Review of Balakrishna’s Bhagavath Kesari.
The movie begins with Bhagavant Kesari, introduced as Khaidi, released from jail with the help of a Jailer after his mother’s last rites. He promises the dying Jailer to fulfill his dream of making his daughter Viji Papa an army officer. The first half explores the journey of Viji Papa and Bhagavanth Kesari, intertwined with a powerful businessman who seeks to harm Viji Papa. In a flashback, Balakrishna is revealed as a formidable police officer. The film delves into how the police officer becomes a prisoner, the businessman’s past connection with Bhagavath Kesari, and the fulfillment of Viji Papa’s father’s dream, setting the stage for a compelling second half.
The movie began with a powerful story and emotional setup, but lost its momentum during the Katyayani love track and some scenes, including the Vinayaka festival. However, it regained traction post the pre-interval, reaching a high point during the interval with Balakrishna’s stellar performance. Thaman’s background music worked well in some parts but fell short in others. Overall it was a decent first half.
