Story:

In what way does he protect his mother from dangerous criminals? Arjun’s love and sacrifice for his mother form the film’s core emotion.
Performances:
Kalyan Ram portrays a loving son and an action hero. He acts strongly in emotional moments, particularly at the climax, while the heroism seems standard. Vijayashanthi returns to acting as a cop, a role she excelled in before. She exudes a nostalgic magic that leaves a good mpression. Saiee Manjrekar’s character lacks impact. Srikanth has a key role and performs well. Sohel Khan fails to impress as the main villain; his presence and acting lack impact. Babloo Prithiveeraj and others act convincingly
Analysis:
Pradeep Chilukuri wrote and directed Arjun Son Of Vyjayanthi. He chose a direct, familiar script that lacks surprises except for the ending. The film opens with the hero’s childhood, highlighting the mother-son bond. It then jumps 20 years ahead, explaining events through a back-and-forth narrative. In both halves, Some action and emotional scenes stand out, and though their impact is not as strong as intended, they work at the standard level. The Mahankali flashback in the second half is crucial, revealing why the Hero becomes rowdy. It works for the film. Moreover, a key episode revealing the connection of police and the villains is likewise fine. The highly hyped climax has a surprising twist, but it could have shown much effect if it was not heavily dragged until that moment
Positives:
- Few Sentiment Scenes
- Action Sequences
- The Unexpected Twist at the Climax
Negatives:
- Predictable Screenplay
- Heroism scenes do not land that strong
- Weak Villains
Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi Movie Review and Verdict:
Overall, Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi is a film where the focus is on the old-school mother sentiment formula that works fine for the film, along with some good action episodes, while the standard screenplay and scenes do not provide the powerful effect.
