It looks like the problems will not leave Akhil Akkineni’s Agent movie anytime soon, as nothing is coming good for the film. The OTT release of the film has been postponed again. The film Agent came into the theaters very late as well. Even though the film started before Covid, the shooting was delayed a lot and finally when it hit the theaters on April 28th and became a terrible disaster at the box office.
The film is the most awaited OTT film for the audience and the OTT platform Sony LIV had officially announced that it will stream from 29th September. But as per the reports, another hurdle is being faced by the Agent.
Agent’s OTT release faces another hurdle as distributor Satish takes the issue to the court, demanding that the streaming of the film should not be allowed until the financial issues are resolved.
Popular streaming platform Sony LIV has acquired the OTT rights of ‘Agent’. It was earlier announced that the film will be streaming on OTT from this Friday, September 29th. In ‘Agent’, Akhil played the role of Ricky aka Ramakrishna. Sakshi Vaidya is paired opposite Akhil. The court has now put a stay on the OTT streaming of the film because of the financial issue between the producer and distributor.
