The Telugu theater owners and industry are facing a very tough time this April, as not even a single film is working at the box office. This week’s releases are also not carrying much buzz, and they are very small films. Now all eyes are on Nani’s HIT 3 to revive the dull box office.

Theater Owners and Industry Look Forward to HIT 3

The theater owners and industry people hope that Nani turns the tables with his crime/action drama. With films like Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Kingdom having more chances for postponement, Nani’s film stands as the only biggie in May.

HIT-3 is carrying a good buzz, and the Telugu states rights are sold at more than 30 Cr, while the worldwide figure is close to 45 Cr. The film needs to open with good WOM and also has to see a good run for at least two weeks for the theaters’ revival.

That is why all eyes are on HIT 3 to revive the dull box office. On the same day, Suriya’s Retro is also releasing in theaters, and everyone is hoping for both films to succeed, which could avail good occupancies in theaters.

Normally, from mid-April, theater owners expected a good season, but the postponement of big films like Kannappa, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Kingdom, and the failures of other films like Odela 2 and Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi have put them in a difficult situation.
