Akhanda 2 is releasing this Friday with premieres tomorrow night, and the film’s runtime, along with the details of how long the first half and second half are out now. There are huge expectations for the film’s box office performance.
This is the biggest film in Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s careers, made on a massive budget of 200 Cr. The Telugu version’s theatrical business alone is over 120 Cr.
The latest news is that the film has been censored with U/A, and Akhanda 2’s runtime is 165 minutes. The first half of the film is said to be a long one, with 91 minutes, and the second half is a crisp one, with 74 minutes in length.
Given that this movie follows Akhanda Part 1, a lengthy runtime came as no surprise. The 1st half involves the setup and story, with the pre-interval expected to take the turn, similar to part 1 with Aghora’s character’s entry.
Thereafter, the film will completely go into action and divine mode. The buzz around the interval block and action sequences in the second half of the film is really high.
