Director Sandeep Raj has shared a deeply emotional note after learning that his upcoming film, Mowgli 2025, will be postponed. The movie was originally scheduled for release on December 12th, but it now has to move to a later date because Akhanda 2, which was first planned for December 5th, is arriving on the 12th instead because of unresolved financial issues.
Sandeep Raj’s message has touched many people. His journey in cinema has been filled with passion, struggle, and setbacks. His debut film, Colour Photo, was a heartfelt project that deserved a proper theatrical release, but it ended up streaming directly on OTT. Although the film became a considerable hit and earned several awards, Sandeep never got the chance to see “Directed by Sandeep Raj” appear on the big screen, isomething he had dreamed of since beginning his career.
In his post, Sandeep expressed that both Colour Photo and Mowgli faced bad luck with their releases. He even wondered if he might be the “bad luck,” admitting that he has felt that way because his dream of seeing his name on the big screen seems to get further away. He jokingly added that the “silver screen hates” him.
Furthermore, he sincerely hoped that the film would receive all the success it deserves, at least for the sake of the hardworking team behind it. Though the delay is disappointing, fans believe Mowgli 2025 will get its moment and that its success will make up for all the hurdles.
