Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly is the Tamil debut of Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers. Reportedly, Mythri was also bankrolling the star’s next. But the latest reports suggest that Mythri Movies is not backing Ajith’s next mega-budget film.
GBU is a box office success, and it is also the biggest career grosser for Ajith. So, everyone expected that the same combination would be repeated for Ak’s next film. But the Mankatha actor will work with Adhik, but not under Mythri Movies.
The movie’s production is said to be handled by Vels Production, and it will be made on a budget of 300 crore. The remuneration of Ajith Kumar will be more than half of the budget.
So, it is confirmed that Mythri Movies is not backing Ajith’s next mega-budget film, and it will go on floors this year in October, targeting a summer 2026 release.
