Whenever there are remake films made from Tamil to Telugu or vice versa, it is inevitable to avoid comparison between the original and remake version. Nowadays, even before the release of the film the fan wars and comparisons will start because the netizens would be very eager to watch any promo or new poster of a particular film and will compare those promotional material with the original film.
The same thing is now happening with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming mass entertainer Bhola Shankar. The film’s director, Meher Ramesh has talked about Bhola Shankar’s original film Vedalam and he told the film has more cringe elements. Now he is facing the heat of the Tamil film industry’s fans, especially hero Ajith Kumar fans are angry at Meher Ramesh for the statement he gave on Vedalam during an interview.
“Ajith Kumar’s Vedalam has 10 times more cringe scenes than those you are referring to as “cringe” in Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar’s trailer, but I haven’t shot them. Instead, I’ve modified the screenplay to create an entirely different film.” said Bholaa Shankar movie’s Director Meher Ramesh in an interview.
The fans of Tamil Star Hero Thala Ajith and other Tamil film industry fans are now angry at Meher Ramesh for making such comments. They are comparing the original movie’s shots with Bhola Shankar and telling that their film is the best.
Bhola Shankar is slated to be released worldwide on August 11. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh as Chiranjeevi’s sister in the movie, which is set against the backdrop of Kolkata, banking on brother and sister relationship and Tamannaah plays the female lead. Sushant plays a key role. Anil Sunkara has produced the film on the AK Entertainments banner.
