In the Telugu Film industry, no matter how successful a director you are, one bad result will turn around your career from top to bottom. Director Surender Reddy is facing the same situation now because his latest film Agent movie’s result has badly affected his career. Before Agent there had been superb offers came for Surender Reddy but after the Agent released everything changed. Surender was to work with Allu Arjun before Agent, but now he is likely to collaborate with Uppena fame Vaishnav Tej for a new film.

It is very well known to everyone that Akhil Akkineni’s Agent, directed by Surender Reddy, had turned out to be a massive failure. The film, having Malayalam Megastar Mammootty in an important vital role and Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead, failed to entertain the audience and Akkineni fans as well. It became a miserable failure at the box office. However, the hero Akhil Akkineni and producer Anil Sunkara put on entire blame on director Surender Reddy.

The producer of Agent, Anil Sunkara had publicly mentioned that going to the sets without a bound script was the main reason for the failure of the film, and after that, Hero Akhil also wrote a letter and thanked everyone except the director of the film, Surender Reddy. It was clear that both were indirectly blaming the director.

Surender Reddy, just like other directors, will have to take the blame for now, assess the situation and look to give a solid comeback with his next film to prove his capability as a director.
