Akhil’s agent continues its disastrous failure upon its digital release as well. It is widely known that Akhil Akkineni’s last theatrical release, Agent, was a big failure at the box office. After a long wait, the film arrived on OTT, and everyone hoped it would get a somewhat better response here. However, Agent OTT Release also becomes a disaster.

Agent: Surender Reddy’s Weakest Film

Surender Reddy is one of the good commercial directors in Tollywood with a handful of commercial successes in his career, like Athanokkade, Kick, Race Gurram, Dhruva, and Syeraa. Even his failed films, like Ashok, Oosaravelli, and Kick 2, which did not work big in theaters, can be watchable on OTT or television.

Because those films have a few scenes that are designed very well. Agent is the one film that received a complete rejection from audiences, and not even a single shot or scene worked for theatrical audiences.

Akhil’s Agent: A Big Disaster in Theaters and OTT

With these reviews, all audiences waited for the OTT release of the film to watch it, but the OTT release was continuously postponed due to financial hurdles. Finally, it arrived on Sony Liv this weekend, and it received the same disastrous response from OTT viewers.

Akhil’s Agent OTT Release also becomes a disaster. The audience felt it was unbearable and the worst film in Akhil and Surender Reddy’s career. Many are even posting on social media that Akhil’s 1st film, Akhil: The Power of Jua, is a more engaging film than Agent.
