Sharwanand’s Oke Oka Jeevitham was released in theatres on 9th September amidst a low buzz for the movie. Despite the impressive trailer and the promotions of the film, the morning and matinee show opened to low numbers.
But there is a lot to be happy about for the team of Oke Oka Jeevitham as the film saw a massive jump in collections after the opening slump. The film witnessed a spike for the 1st shows and registered decent numbers. This was followed by an extraordinary display for the 2nd show where it registered houseful shows in most areas.
Despite the stiff competition from Brahmastra, Oke Oka Jeevitham has managed to stay strong. After a minor setback, the film has taken off at the box office. This is largely due to the positive talk that the film has generated. Both critics as well as the general audience have loved the film and are calling it an emotional blockbuster. The concept of time travel and the emotional connection between a mother and her son have been blended in beautifully.
At this rate, Oke Oka Jeevitham is on track to easily break even at the box office by the opening weekend itself. The film is expected to post more collections on Day 2, followed by a bigger jump on Day 3 also.
Oke Oka Jeevitham also stars Priyadarsi Pulikonda, Vennela Kishore, Ritu Varma, and a fantastic Amala Akkineni in the lead roles. Shree Karthick is the writer as well as the director of the film. Dialogues have been written by Tharun Bhascker and the music is by Jakes Bejoy.
