Mega Nephew Panja Vaishnav Tej’s latest film Aadikeshava has been released in theaters today. Made as a mass entertainer, the film had a decent buzz around it and even the unit had arranged paid premieres for the film. Aadikeshava turns out to be an age old and uninteresting movie. Scroll down for the film’s full review.

Story: Balu (Vaishnav Tej) is a happy-go-lucky guy who lives with his parents. On his father’s request, he joins Chitra’s (Sree Leela) office, and she likes his personality. They both fall in love. At Chitra’s birthday party, her father announces that her marriage is fixed with someone else.

After that, Balu gets to know about his past connection with MLA Maha Kaleshwar Reddy (Suman) from Rayalaseema. What is that connection? How are Chenga Reddy (Joju George) and his mining factory linked with Balu? The answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Performances: Vaishnav Tej has tried a full-fledged mass role. Though he was able to mouth a couple of punch dialogues, he could not do much as the character lacked weight. Sree Leela was good in a few scenes with her cute and lovely expressions and danced well in the songs, as expected. Malayalam actor Joju George appeared in a routine villain role. Though his screen presence was good, he did not get much scope to perform and got wasted. Sada, Suman, Tanikella Bharani, Radhika, Jayaprakash, and others were okay.

Positives:

  • Sree Leela
  • Few Comedy Scenes
  • Pre Climax

Negatives:

  • Routine Story/Screenplay
  • Lack of Emotions
  • Overboard Violence in fights

Aadikeshava Movie Review and Verdict:

Aadikeshava is an age-old and uninteresting movie. A few comedy scenes and heroine Sree Leela are the film’s plus points, while outdated story, narration and overboard violence in action sequences work against it. It’s an easily avoidable film.
