6 shows and ticket hike for Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha reddy

Sankranti’s big releases Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy are just a couple of weeks away from their releases. Both films bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, apart from competing among themselves will also clash with Vijay’s Varisu/Varasudu and Ajith’s Thunivu/Thegimpu.

Veera Simha Reddy will be the first one to release of the two and will hit the screens on 12th January while Waltair Veerayya will release on 13th January. Fans have been slightly concerned about the screens Balayya and Chiru movies will get considering Dil Raju’s backing for Varisu and Thunivu.

To counter this clash, Mythri Movies Makers are planning to request a Rs 50 hike and 6 shows permission for 1 week in Andhra Pradesh for Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. In Telangana also they are planning to take permission for special shows on festival days.

Waltair Veerayya also has Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja in a crucial role. According to the reports, his character’s screen time in the film will be around forty minutes. Shruti Haasan is the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi, Catherine Tresa will be seen opposite Ravi Teja.

Alongside Balakrishna, Veera Simha Reddy also has Kannada Actor Duniya Vijay in the antagonist role. Actress Honey Rose will be seen in an important role. While Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead, the film also has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a prominent role
