War 2 is gearing up for the 14th August, 2025, release, clashing with Rajinikanth’s Coolie. The film is said to be one of the costliest films from Bollywood. The War 2 budget is reported to be over 400 crore.
As the film involves two big stars, NTR and Hrithik Roshan, and also a few more big stars, the movie was made on a massive scale. So all these elements made the budget of the film huge.
War 2 Budget – 400 Crore – Biggest Budget Film of Indian Cinema this year
The inside reports suggest that the War 2 budget will be more than 400 crore. In those four hundred crores, half of the budget has gone for the cast and crew remunerations, and another 200 crores for the making of the film.
If we include the prints and publicity, the movie’s final budget will be around 425 Cr, which is a massive amount.
That is why War’s sequel has become the biggest budgeted film of Indian cinema this year, and it has all chances to become this year’s biggest grosser as well.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is the biggest grosser in YRF Spy Universe films, and War 2 is capable of going past that.
