Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara was scheduled to be released in theaters this January, but it was postponed due to the delay in VFX works. According to the director, Mallidi Vassishta, Vishwambhara targets an October release.
In his recent interview, director Vassishta said that 80% of the CG work is completed, and they are extremely happy with the output. The remaining 20% will also be delivered shortly.

The same VFX companies that worked on Kalki 2898 AD and Superman 2025 are handling the VFX for Vishwambhara, and Mallidi Vassishta’s Vishwambhara targets a September or October release.
The socio-fantasy film is based on our Puranas. There are a total of 14 worlds in the universe, including the seven worlds at the top and the seven at the bottom.
But the 15th world above all is called “Sathya Lokam,” and that is where Vishwambhara is set. Vashishtha revealed the film’s plot in his latest interview: this film is all about the hero’s adventure for the heroin,e who goes into another world.
“The film will exceed the expectations of the audience, and Chiranjeevi will be shown in a new way that has never been seen before,” said the director.
