Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra was released in theatres on August 31st. Due to the decent buzz and hype around the film, it opened to great numbers on the opening day. It is also important to mention that Cobra also greatly benefited from the Ganesha festival advantage.

Coming to the overseas performance, Cobra collected about 10.7 crores. Overall, Cobra managed to collect 53.6 crores in gross approximately on its 1st weekend at the box office.
