The Actor has surprisingly taken the path of Politics, establishing his political outfit, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), last year. He also announced his retirement from films with his upcoming film, Jana Nayagan.
The shoot of Jana Nayagan is happening, and it is learnt that Vijay has finished his portions from the film. With this, Vijay’s cinema journey has officially come to an end, and his focus now will only be on politics. This is surely a disappointing moment for the fans and audience. Vijay, as said, delivered many memorable and big blockbusters over the years, and his absence will be a big miss for the Film Industry.
Jana Nayagan has already been announced as a Sankranthi release next year. So, this will be a very good release period, and the film may also shatter many records. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is a remake of the Tollywood film, Bhagavanth Kesari, starring Balakrishna. Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju in crucial roles.
