Kollywood Director Venkat Prabhu recently tasted success in the form of The GOAT starring Vijay. The film became a big blockbuster grossing more than 450 crores worldwide as well. Now, the buzz is that Venkat Prabhu has grabbed the lucky chance of directing Rajinikanth for his next.
It is learnt that Rajinikanth has like The GOAT and may give his go ahead for Venkat Prabhu. Venkat Prabhu is also said to have narrated a line to Rajini. Lyca Productions is also rumoured to produce the film. The banner witnessed back to back debales recently which starred Rajinikanth in the lead role. So, he is also thinking to compensate them with this film according to sources.
Currently, Rajinikanth is working for Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is also taking Jailer 2 into consideration and Mani Ratnam film as well. Venkat Prabhu, on the other hand is currently working on his upcoming film starring Siva Karthikeyan. So, if everything goes well this combo may take place in 2026.
