Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s Varanasi, the biggest film, has prompted many discussions and debates online regarding its concept or scale, and it has also led to the demand for an IMAX screen from audiences in the Telugu states.
Rajamouli announced at the Varanasi event that they will introduce a new technology to Telugu cinema, the premium large-scale format IMAX. Usually, Telugu films are shot with a normal camera and converted to IMAX format.
Films like Baahubali and RRR were produced in IMAX, but Varanasi will be available in full-screen format. With this, people are desperate to experience this film in IMAX only.
Telugu Cinema fans wish to watch Varanasi on IMAX Screen
In India, there are IMAX screens in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Kochi, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow. But in Telugu states, there are no IMAX screens, which is disappointing for audiences.
People always want to experience the best screen, especially for high visual films, and after watching Varanasi’s span and visuals in its glimpse, everyone wants to experience the film in a large screen format and demands that the theater owners and filmmakers set up the IMAX in the Telugu states before the film’s release, and even Rajamouli also holds the same thought.
