As we already know that Power Star is making his Tollywood re-entry with Vakeel Saab, the Telugu remake of a Bollywood movie Pink. Vakeel Saab completed some part of it shooting and due to COVID-19 the film shoot has been paused.
As the filmmakers got a long break over 3 months, the director and the producer have made a few changes in the script. They also planned to finish the shooting well in advance. These changes include the shortening of Shruthi Hassan’s role duration by more than half of the previous one. In the original film Pink, there is no such role but the filmmaker created this role according to the Telugu audience taste as a commercial element. The shooting will resume after the lockdown and the movie makers are planning to release it in the second week of August. Pawan Kalyan also signed another two projects after Vakeel Saab. #PSPK27 under A.M.Ratnams production directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and #PSPK28 in the banner of Mythri Movie Makers directed by Harish Shankar.
Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a title role in this film which was originally played by Amitabh in Pink. This film is being produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor while S.S.Thaman is composing music, which will be the first album for Power Star. The other main cast includes Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla, and PrakashRaj. Naresh and Anasuya will be seen in supporting roles.
