Vaazhai is a Tamil-language biographical drama film written, directed, and co-produced by ace filmmaker Mari Selvaraj. Featuring debutants Ponvel and Rahul in lead roles, it is scheduled for a grand release tomorrow i.e on 23rd August 2024.
Prior to this, some paid premieres were held in Tamil Nadu, where special guests and media personalities were invited. And expectedly, Vaazhai received rave reviews with high praise for the performances of the cast, Santhosh Narayanan’s music, and Selvaraj’s direction.
Director Bala was one of the guests invited to these special screenings. As the title reads, this prolific filmmaker was all in tears upon watching Vaazhai. Considering this sort of reception, it must be seen how the film will fare at the ticket window.
