The most awaited clash of Indian cinema between Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Hrithik Roshan-NTR’s War 2 resulted in a bit of disappointment as both films failed to get a good response. War 2 vs. Coolie box office collections for two days are out now.
As said above, both films received mixed reviews, but the showdown at the theaters is still going on, with Superstar Rajini taking the lead in numbers.
For two days, War 2 collected 165 Cr gross worldwide, while Coolie collected 246 Cr gross. The break-even of War Sequel stands at 700 Cr gross with a recovery of 23% till now, and Coolie’s break-even stands at 600 Cr gross with a recovery of 41%.
Coolie fares well at the Box Office, while War 2 is below par
Coolie is having a good weekend at the box office, while War 2 is having a below-par weekend. Both movies were expected to hit 1000 Cr gross before release, but the bad WOM and reviews impacted the films.
Now we need to see where the War 2 vs. Coolie clash goes and whether these biggies can achieve break-even or not.
