The film industry often witnesses strange and ironic situations when it comes to big projects or star actor–director combinations. One such case is now being talked about again with Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas’s huge project.
Trivikram had planned his dream project based on Lord Kumara Swamy, with Allu Arjun in the lead. The film was officially announced, but after Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun chose to work with Atlee, putting Trivikram’s project on hold. Hurt by the development, Trivikram later moved the project to NTR, and it was officially announced with him.
The original plan was to begin the film in the second half of 2026, when NTR would be free from Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel, and Trivikram would complete his film with Venkatesh. However, delays in Dragon and its decision to be made in two parts changed everything. The makers of Dragon plan to release both parts back-to-back, similar to KGF, Baahubali, and Pushpa. If this happens, NTR will remain busy until 2027.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is expected to complete Atlee’s project by next summer. Because of these developments, industry circles are now buzzing that Trivikram Srinivas’s Lord Kumara Swamy project may once again return to Allu Arjun. It remains to be seen who will finally lead this ambitious film, which is considered Trivikram’s dream project.
