The Name of “Velu Naickers” Grandson in “Nayakan” is “Shaktivel. In the “Thug Life” announcement video, Kamals Name is “Rangaraaya SAKTHIVEL NAAYAKAN”. Now the fans are thinking maybe the character of Kamal’s character is a Grandson of Velu Naicker.
Now this link has created a massive buzz on social media and netizens feel it will be a sequel to the all-time blockbuster Nayakan . Kamal Haasan also is said to be working on the writing of this film. In titles, it was mentioned written by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam.
Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies will be working together to produce Thug Life. Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Dulquer Salmaan, Abhirami, and Nazar are among the cast members in the film. Mani will work with the crew he works with frequently, which includes cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad, and music composer AR Rahman.
In addition to Thug Life, Kamal will also be featured in Indian 2, the follow-up to Shankar’s 1996 blockbuster vigilante action film. In the sequel, slated to be released in cinemas on next Summer, he will play Senapathy again. Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh are also cast in the movie.
