There were three major disappointments for OTT audiences this week. The main disappointment is Hanu-Man OTT streaming is postponed.
Excluding Hanuman, all other Sankranti releases have already been streaming on OTT for a long time. The films that were released after Hanuman are also streaming on OTT. All other films have a 4-week theatrical window or even less, while Hanuman has an 8-week theatrical window. The anticipated movie will stream on Zee 5 from March 8th. But the movie is not streaming, and there is no update yet from the team on the streaming date.
The second one is Lal Salaam. Lal Salaam was released on February 9 and failed miserably at the box office. The auditions are awaiting streaming because Rajnikanth plays an extended cameo role. The movie streaming is expected on Netflix on March 8th. But there is no update.
The third disappointment is Yatra 2. Yatra Part 1 works so well at theaters as well as on Telivision and OTT. But Yatra 2 failed miserably at the box office, but audiences are interested to see what content is shown in the film. The streaming date is expected to be March 8th on Prime Video. But there is no update on this yet.
Many films started streaming on March 8th, but Telugu audiences are eagerly waiting for these 3 films, mainly Hanuman. With these films not arriving on OTT, everyone is disappointed. The happiest news for them is surprising arrival of ooru Peru Bhairavakona in OTT platform within just three weeks of release.
