It’s Official… Director Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War Vs Prabhas’ Salaar Clash is on in this September. After winning The Kashmir Files vs. Radhe Shyam clash, Vivek Agnihotri is again coming with a head-to-head clash with Prabhas. The Vaccine War, starring Nana Patekar in the lead role, will face off against Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar Part 1 on September 28, 2023. This morning, Vivek Agnihotri took to his official Twitter Account to announce the release date of his upcoming film.
The Vaccine War is based on real events and will showcase the medical accomplishments of our nation during the most challenging times, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the film has a comparatively lower budget than Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, will the clash make it a bit difficult for Prabhas’s big budget film? We will be able to find out the truth in another 6 weeks.
Earlier, talking about Nana Patekar’s performance, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri had said, “I am extremely glad that Pallavi and I made this choice of having Nana Patekar lead the film. He has given one of the most powerful, credible, and amazing performances of his career. He surrendered himself to the script and the character, which is a very rare quality among stars. And we are so happy and delighted that Nana Patekar is acting in one of the most important films of our time.”
If we go into the past, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files had clashed with Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam on March 11th, 2022. While the former went on to be become a surprise blockbuster at the box office, the latter was a massive failure. Even during the time when the teaser of Salaar was released, within a few hours, director Vivek Agnihotri took to Twitter to voice his opinion in the form of a series of tweets.
