Prabhas and Maruthi’s horror comedy fantasy, The Raja Saab, was released theatrically on January 9, 2026, and is scheduled for an OTT release on JioHotstar on February 6, 2026, i.e., tonight. The streaming platform is aggressively promoting the film’s premiere on social media.
As it was the first biggie of Telugu cinema this year, the film was surrounded by many expectations, but it failed to meet them, ending as a big failure at the box office. Now, The Raja Saab will be available for streaming on JioHotstar tonight in all South languages, but the Hindi version will stream next month due to the 8-week theatrical-to-OTT window.
The Raja Saab Plot and Cast Details
The film tells the story of Raju (Prabhas), who arrives at his ancestral village to claim his property, only to discover a mansion haunted by a supernatural entity, who is none other than his grandfather, Kanakaraju, played by Sanjay Dutt. Zarina Wahab, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani, and others play crucial roles in this film.
