The GOAT starring Vijay released recently and is witnessing a sensational run at the box office. The film opened to 100 crores gross worldwide showing the star power of Vijay at the box office. The film continued the momentum on second day as well. Now, The GOAT’s OTT release date and details have come out.
The GOAT’s digital rights are bagged by the leading OTT Giant, Netflix in all the languages for a sensational price. The film and the team have opted for a 28 days theatrical window after which it will make its official OTT entry. It is also learnt that The GOAT will start streaming from 3rd October on Netflix in all languages.
The film is doing very well in Tamil Nadu and Overseas belt. The performance is also okayish in Karnataka but whereas Kerala and Telugu States collections are disastrous to say the least. Big losses are expected in these regions. This is also Vijay’s weakest performance in Telugu states after a long time. The film is also likely to close putting in less than 5 crores share in Telugu States. But the film looks obvious to gross more than 300 crores in Tamil version in the long run.
