‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s penultimate film, The Greatest Of All Time (2024), hit the screens last Friday to a poor reception from viewers. However, it has managed to post good numbers within the state of Tamil Nadu, thus underlining Vijay’s super stardom.
Keeping this aside, the Venkat Prabhu-directorial has been in the news for another reason: plagiarism allegations. Yes, according to some netizens, The Goat’s climax has been lifted from the English film Final Score (2018).
The only difference is that this Tamil flick will feature cricket instead of football, and of course M. S. Dhoni is a new addition.
