After a long gap of four years, Raj and DK’s The Family Man 3, starring Manoj Bajpayee has finally been released on Prime Video. Let’s see if the new season meets the expectations.
Story:
Srikant Tiwari, the top TASC agent, is now on the run from both the government and his enemies. At the same time, the sensitive Northeast region of India faces a dangerous and well-funded conspiracy. The story follows Tiwari’s fight for justice while he deals with serious challenges in his personal life.
Performances:
Manoj Bajpayee once again shines as Srikant Tiwari with an excellent performance. Jaideep Ahlawat impresses with his calm yet terrifying role as Rukma, keeping strong intensity throughout. Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwantary are very good, while Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha perform decently. Nimrat Kaur looks graceful, though her character has limited scope. Seema Biswas stands out in her scenes.
Analysis:
In the third season of The Family Man, creators Raj and DK raise the tension to a new level. The plot explores not only the professional and personal struggles of Srikant but also touches upon important social issues.
The series starts on an engaging note and quickly moves into the main conflict. As Srikant deals with multiple challenges while chasing a murderer, the suspense keeps the audience curious about how he will succeed.
The funny and sharp conversations between Srikant and JK work well once again. However, the villains and the obstacles for the hero could have been more powerful.
The show remains impactful until the fourth episode, but it slows down at places due to a relaxed narrative. The final episode becomes intense again with strong dialogues and emotional moments, but the cliffhanger ending may disappoint many fans.
The focus on too many issues sometimes stops the characters from fully developing, leaving viewers wanting more from Srikant and his team.
Positives:
- Manoj Bajpayee’s Performance
- Intriguing Northeast Conflict Point
- First Four Episodes
Negatives:
- Dragged Middle Episodes
- Weak Handling of Srikanth Tiwari and Rukma Conflict
- A Somewhat Disappointing Cliffhanger
The Family Man 3 Review and Verdict:
Overall, The Family Man 3 is a proper continuation of the beloved series. Although Raj and DK struggle a bit in dealing with too many issues, they still succeed in keeping the audience engaged.
