Thandel is a romantic drama film starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. Bankrolled by Allu Arvind under the banner ‘Geetha Arts’ on a big scale, the project’s music is composed by ‘Rock Star’ Devi Sri Prasad.
Undoubtedly the biggest film of his career, Chaitanya has pinned big hopes in this film that is written and directed by Chandoo Mundeti who recently delivered the blockbuster Karthikeya 2 (2022). The Makers were initially looking for a release in December, but owing to Game Changer occuping the slot, they’ve reportedly changed plans.
Sources reveal that Thandel is very likely to release in January 2025, meaning it’ll lock horns with Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, #NBK109, and Venkatesh-Ani Ravipudi films. Chaitanya has had career fluctuations lately, and for that reason, this is a much-needed blockbuster.
